The "CIRCLE OF LOVE" program defines the areas of work that the Catholic Daughters undertake to support our Church, our community, our state and our nation.  There are seven spokes in the circle, each representing a different category of effort undertaken by the Catholic Daughters.  They are:

Leadership

Legislation

Quality of Life

Spiritual Enhancement

Youth

Every project carried out by the Catholic Daughters, whether National, State or Local, falls under one of these categories.  For instance, the Autumn Retreat detailed in the What We Do page falls under the Spiritual Enhancement spoke.  Each Daughter must choose to participate in at least one spoke of the circle

Court Our Lady of Peace #2728 participates in the following Circles:

Family Circle of Love

The family Circle of Love has been selling sweatshirts and tee shirts to raise money for Court Our Lady of Peace.  The shirts are a lovely shade of charcoal grey with a purple cross embroidered on the left breast.

Recently, Court Our Lady of Peace hosted a pancake breakfast in support of The Confraternity of Christian Mothers at our parish.

Quality of Life

The Quality of Life team is helping the Aspen Mine Center, as they help those in need with showers, by collecting toiletries, socks, underwear, etc.  We will have donation containers at both Our Lady of the Woods and St. Peter Chapel and this will be an all-year round project.

 

 

Spiritual Enhancement

The Spirituality team is planning on an Advent Wreath Makin Project. It is planned for November 23 and 24, 2024, which is Christ the King weekend.  Supplies have been ordered and a flier has been prepared.  All parishioners will be welcome.

 

The team is planning a Spiritual Retreat in October for all the women in the parish.

 

The first Wednesday of each month is CDA Holy Hour at Our Lady of the Woods at 5:00 pm.
